MultiCorpora, a developer of enterprise language management solution software, debuted its new solution set for freelancers at the ATA 2005 conference in Seattle, Washington, in November. MultiTrans 4 Freelance Edition provides access to the basic functions necessary for a freelance translator to perform translation not working from a corporate network.
This stand-alone edition of MultiTrans 4 includes the ability to build and import TextBases and TermBases of an unlimited size and uses the Translation Agent within Microsoft Word. Unlike the Expert Edition, this Freelance Edition can only be installed on a computer not connected to a domain, and cannot connect to TextBases or TermBases hosted on a MultiTrans 4 Server. Existing MultiTrans Light customers with contract maintenance will be upgraded to the MultiTrans 4 Freelance Edition free of charge in January 2006. |
