Idiom Technologies, Inc., an enterprise software company that delivers advanced XML-based publishing and content globalization solutions, is adding support for Adobe FrameMaker 7.2 software. The new release of FrameMaker incorporates support for DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture), a new XML authoring and publishing standard. To date, Adobe has incorporated Idiom WorldServer solutions across a number of product and internal corporate documentation initiatives.
Specifically, Adobe is using Idiom WorldServer OpenTopic, the only commercial DITA-powered solution to help global companies accelerate the delivery of XML-based content to market by simplifying the creation, management, localization and production of print and electronic documents. By incorporating DITA support into Adobe FrameMaker 7.2 software, authoring teams can take advantage of the benefits of standards-based, single-source publishing across all their documentation work, improving the way they create and deliver topic-driven documents and online help systems. |
