GALA, the Globalization and Localization Association, invites translation and localization professionals to participate in the new GALA on Technology Blog (weblog). The new blog is intended to be an unbiased open forum for discussion of the technological resources, new developments and ongoing challenges that vendors and clients are facing in the localization and translation industries. GALA has gathered a core group of industry experts to contribute to the blog on a regular basis. However, all interested parties are invited to initiate new discussion threads and contribute to current discussion topics. GALA moderators will ensure that the topics remain focused on relevant technology issues.
In addition, the blog links up to other industry resources on the web. Member organization sites such as Common Sense Advisory's Global Watchtower and MultiLingual's Blogos have a wealth of information in the form of white papers, opinion polls and case studies on their sites. The GALA on Technology Blog will be an excellent location to carry out in-depth discussions of editorial content from those and other sources. |
