The LRC 2005 Seminar Series features distinguished experts examining different aspects of localization, including jobs and careers, tools and technologies, project management, research and development and cross-disciplinary issues.
On November 16, Gerry Carty, Vivendi Universal Games' general manager, will share some of his knowledge with the staff and the students at the University of Limerick. The day's proceedings will be highly interactive with plenty of live examples. While Carty will talk about the business of developing games in the morning, the afternoon session will focus on how games developed in the US are adapted linguistically and culturally for gamers all over the world. |
