Online journals move 

Multilingual Matters and Channel View Publications are moving their online journals to Portland Press. Beginning January 1, the new URLs will be http://www.multilingual-matters.net and http://www.channelviewpublications.net. A free online trial period for all journals is offered through March 31, 2005.

 

Multilingual Matters is an independent, international publishing house publishing 12 peer-reviewed academic journals in the areas of bilingualism, second/foreign language learning, sociolinguistics and translation. Channel View Publications, an imprint of Multilingual Matters, publishes journals and books on tourism and environmental studies. Portland Customer Services, a division of Portland Press Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Biochemical Society, hosts 35 online journals using Sirius, its own electronic journal publishing system.
